This Privacy Policy describes how Flashyrun ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our flashcard learning service at flashyrun.com (the "Service").

When you use Flashyrun, we collect:
Account information: your email address and name, provided via Google sign-in or email signup.
Usage data: flashcard decks you create, study progress, and preferences you set within the app.
Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. We store only subscription status and plan metadata.
Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and access times for security and debugging purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To authenticate you and secure your account.
To process subscription payments and manage access to paid features.
To communicate with you about account, billing, or service-related matters.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted processors who help us run the Service:
Supabase — database, authentication, and backend hosting.
Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
Google — sign-in provider (if you choose Google sign-in).
Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered card generation, if you use that feature. Prompts are transmitted to generate cards and are not retained beyond what is necessary to provide the response.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes (for example, payment records).
5. Your Rights
You can:
Access, update, or delete your account data at any time from within the app.
Cancel your subscription at any time.
Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us (see contact below).
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) and authentication measures. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never passes through our servers unencrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Children
Flashyrun is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
